Weekly Akandh Paths in Anandpur Sahib
Since 2003, the Khalsa Family has had the honor of sponsoring Akandh Paths in Anandpur Sahib, the home of the Khalsa. At Takhat Keshgar Sahib in 1999 the Khalsa family gifted an incredible sword to honor the 300th anniversary of the formation of the Khalsa. This engraved and bejeweled sword now sits on display with Guru Gobind Singh’s swords. It is protected inside the Takhat for all to see and enjoy.
The prayer of these Akand Paths being done weekly has supported the Khalsa family thru the transition of the Siri Singh Sahib and it has kept the Siri Singh Sahib’s legacy alive in the hearts and minds of those who serve at Takhat Keshgar Sahib. Originally all the Akandh Paths were sponsored by the Khalsa Council members through their duesand we focused each week on the success of our events, the school, our businesses and marriages. Now individuals from the worldwide sangat are sponsoring the Akand Paths to bless their birthdays, marriages or businesses.
So many prayers have been answered. It is an incredible experience so if you want to join the worldwide sangat and experience the blessing of the Guru by sponsoring an Akand Path for the Dharma and for yourself then go to the donate button and sign up. It costs only $108 to sponsor an Akand Path in Anandpur Sahib. The donations includes all administrative costs.
